| There's no
better time like the present to test your knowledge of the
rules. Here's what you'll
find in the way of self tests:
Some are true or false. Others are
situational, asking you to make the correct call. Still others
ask you to evaluate whether a hold is illegal or illegal . Your
selection will prompt feedback to your choice and, where
applicable, cite the article number from the National Federation
of State High School Associations' (NFHS) Wrestling Rules Book.
Any NFHS rule modified by the Ohio High School Athletic
Association (OHSAA) can be traced back to the OHSAA's Wrestling Regulations. You
must have, or download (for free!), Acrobat Reader to view this document.

05-06 Wrestling
Regulations (PDF file).
For those using this material as a study guide for taking
the NFHS's wrestling rules test to obtain your OHSAA license, please keep in mind that your
responses on the NFHS test must reflect what's stated in the NFHS rules
book, NOT OHSAA's modifications. In other words disregard the OHSAA's modifications when taking the NFHS
test!
In the meantime, all tests listed below incorporate what are known to be the
latest and most complete modifications issued by the OHSAA and thus should be
answered accordingly.
